Notes: Hooper is an absolutely gorgeous little Maltese puppy who came into the shelter when his owner decided that she worked too many hours to give the puppy the attention he deserved.  He gets along well with other small dogs and would make a great addition to any family who has the time for an active little puppy.  Adoption fee: $250.00.

Notes: Lucy an approx. 7 months old pure bred German Shepherd. She has a wonderful bark which would scare off any burglar, but once she gets used to you, she is very gentle and protective of her person. She prefers women and would make a wonderful protector for a young single woman. She and Zander were scheduled to be adopted together, but the intended adopter lost his job and could no longer afford to add two new pets to his family. Now Lucy and Zander find themselves once again looking to find loving homes. Adoption fee: $250.00.

Notes: Susie is a black and brindle Lab/Boxer/Great Dane mix. Her owner no longer wanted her and brought her to the shelter to find a new home. She is 1 year old. Susie has never piddled in her run even when she was suffering from a bladder infection from which she is now recovered.  This would indicate that she is indeed housetrained.  She loves to go down by the river to play catch and run.  She is very affectionate and will make a great family addition to whomever decides to make her their newest family member.  Adoption fee: $185.00.

Notes: Wrigley was rescued after being abandoned near the storage units near our shelter.  The kind man who rescued him took him to the police station here in Seneca, and we took him in the next day.  He was adopted within the first half-hour he was here.  Unfortunately, he grew much larger than his adopter had expected and was given to an new home.  Somehow he found his way into animal control and was about to be put down when he was rescued by the ARK in Lacon.  There he was scanned for a chip and traced to us.  Therefore this intelligent young pup has found his way back into the runs of our shelter.  He is a big, friendly giant who needs someone who can look past the size of his body and instead see the size of his heart.  Are you ready to step up to bat and hit a HOMErun for Wrigley.   Adoption fee: $185.00.
